Having lifted the Premier League title in his first season in charge at the Stamford Bridge, Antonio Conte has already created history in England but he does not want to quit anytime soon.
The Italian manager is looking to improve on the squad at his disposal at the Stamford Bridge to try and take Chelsea to the summit in Europe and is linked with some of the finest talents in world football.
Chelsea need to make some important signing if they are to keep up their good work from the previous season and club legend Frank Lampard has now urged the club to get this deal done.
Speaking in an interview with the Sky Sports recently, the former West Ham and Chelsea attacker felt that it is important for Chelsea to tie Antonio Conte to a new deal before the start of the upcoming season.

At 47, Conte is one of the most reputed managers in world football and has already been linked with a move back to the Serie A and Lampard wants Chelsea to extend his contract and make sure that he stays in London for years to come.
Antonio would be their most important signing – for me he was their man of the season,’ the former England midfielder said.
You talk about player of the year, I’m all for giving the players credit but because it was such a dramatic uplift from the year before I think you have to give him huge credit.
‘You saw the system change and how he made them play in that formation, it worked well.
‘I think he’s a huge signing for them. I have no doubts, I don’t know but I’m pretty confident he’ll be there and they’ll bring in players to play in the system he wants to play,’ he added.
Chelsea are looking to improve their attacking front and have already put Diego Costa up for sale.
They are looking to sign a top class striker this summer and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku looks set to make a return back to the Stamford Bridge.

Lampard felt that Costa will be difficult to replace this summer but revealed that Romelu Lukaku could be the answer to their problems for the next season.
Costa will be very difficult to replace, there’s no doubt about that,’ Lampard told Sky Sports.
‘If he stays, brilliant, if he doesn’t then you’ll have to go to the top end of world strikers to replace him.
‘I think Lukaku would be a great option and the only thing that Chelsea have to look at is the inflated market that is around now which is very tough and they will take that into account.
‘In terms of an all-round striker, proven to have scored goals with Everton last year and the last two or three seasons in the Premier League, he would be an option for them,’ he added.
