Potential Future Plans For Charlotte Flair On WWE Raw 1

Charlotte Flair fans might not be very happy with her status ever since she stepped foot into WWE Raw following the Draft. Back on SmackDown, she used to be stealing the spotlight whereas now she has to be in the shadows of Becky Lynch. Since the current champion has had a number of feuds against Flair in the recent past, the officials can’t really arrange a title program between the two of them.

With that being said, Charlotte Flair may just have to be sidelined from the title picture for sometimes. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Flair’s current situation on Monday Night RAW.

She has nothing to do except for wait at this point. This could be very frustrating for a ten-time women’s champion, but a Royal Rumble win could also be on the cards for her.

She was the first one to insert herself into the 30-woman Royal Rumble match in 2020 as there could be no other program for her, as of now. Becky Lynch is already involved with Asuka in the singles title feud. Meanwhile, Asuka is one-half of the women’s tag team champions. Hence, the officials can’t really make a separate program for the doubles titles, at present,

“She’s not in a program right now anyway. She’s waiting for the Asuka and Becky Lynch program to end. She may be waiting even longer than that. I suppose she might win the Royal Rumble. There are a couple of contenders for the Royal Rumble and she is certainly one of them.” (courtesy ringsidenews.com)

The status of Charlotte Flair has been looking uncertain for quite sometimes since she is not fitting well in the Raw women’s division. She did have an incredible 2019 which did not end on a good note. But in a recent promo, The Queen intended to make the wrong things right in the near future,

“I guess thank you. But, here’s the thing it’s not welcome back. I’ve been here. I didn’t go anywhere. I’ve been grinding. Last year TLC main event, Survivor Series, WrestleMania, retired the greatest in-ring competitor this business has ever seen [Trish Stratus at SummerSlam]. You know, it’s not welcome back. I’ve been here.”

On a personal note, Charlotte Flair is in a happy mood as she is engaged with Andrade to get married. Plus, she has already won the women’s title ten times including three times in 2019. Hence, she needs to keep patience for now as ups and downs are part of one’s career.
