South Africa vs India, 1st T20I, Johannesburg
India continued their dominance over hosts South Africa in the limited overs format as they won the first T20I by 28 runs. The men in blue took a 1-0 lead after winning the first match at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. South Africa won the toss and chose to field first. India finished their innings with a huge score of 203/4. Opener Shikhar Dhawan was in blistering form as he scored 72 off 39 balls at a strike rate of 184.6. For South Africa, Junior Dala was the pick of the bowlers picking up two wickets for 47 runs.
South Africa could only manage to score 175/9 in their 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks was the top scorer for the hosts as he scored 70 off50 balls. However, the star of the match was Bhuvneshwar Kumar who became the first Indian bowler to pick a five wicket haul in T20I. India have now taken a 1-0 lead in the three match series.

Rochdale scored a 93rd minute goal to deny Tottenham Hotspur victory to draw the match 2-2. Ian Henderson opened the scoring for the home team but Lucas Moura and Harry Kane gave Spurs the lead but they couldn’t hold on to it. Steve Davies scored the equalizer in injury time.
