Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham

Harry Kane netted his 24th goal in the 2017/18 English Premier League season as Tottenham scored a late winner to bag all the three points against Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace defended well throughout the match, but the Spurs attack kept on testing the Palace defense. But it was in the 88th minute that the England striker finally found the back of the net.

Manchester United vs. Chelsea 

Chelsea took the lead at Old Trafford, but the Manchester United pulled back things and won the match 2-1. Willian struck in the 32 minute, but United and Belgium forward equalized in the 39th minute. Jese Lingard who came in the second half as a substitute scored the winner for the home team to take Manchester United back to the second spot in the standings.

Arsenal vs. Manchester City

Pep Guardiola won his first title in England as Manchester City defeated Arsenal 3-0 in the final of the EFL Cup in Wembley. City won the match and completely dominated the Gunners. Sergio Aguero opened the scoring in the 18th minute. Vincent Kompany then scored in the 58th before David Silva scored the last goal of the match in the 65th minute.

Diego Schwartzman defeated Fernando Verdasco 6-2, 6-4 in the final of the Rio Open, winning his second career title.
