South Africa vs India, 3rd Test, Johannesburg 

The second day of the third and final Test at the Wanderers as India dismissed the hosts for 194 with a lead of seven runs. Hashim Amla was the top scorer for South Africa with 61 runs. He was accompanied by Kagiso Rabada and Vernon Philander who scored 30 and 35 runs respectively. For India, Jasprit Bumrah picked up his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket. India started well in the second innings and were 100/4 at lunch on day two with Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane at the crease.

Australia vs England, 4th ODI, Adelaide

Australia finally picked up a victory in the limited overs format as they won the fourth ODI by three wickets at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first. The decision paid off for the hosts as they restricted England at 8/5 at one stage. England skipper Eoin Morgan and Moeen Ali then scored 33 each. But the star with the bat for England was Chris Woakes who scored 78 off 82 to take the total to 196. Australia had some hiccups but achieved the target with 13 overs to go and three wickets in hand. Travis Head scored 96 while opening the innings in Aaron Finch’s absence. Pat Cummins was adjudged the man of the match for bowling figures of 4 for 24 in his 10 overs.

India vs Bangladesh

India moved to the semi-final of the World Cup and set up a clash with arch-rivals Pakistan after defeating Bangladesh in the quarterfinals by 131 runs. India won the toss and chose to bat first and were dismissed for 265 in 49.2 overs. Shubman Gill top scored with 86 runs while Abhishek Sharma and Prithvi Shaw scored 50 and 40 respectively. Bangladesh was bundled out for a mere 134 in 42.1 overs. Kamlesh Nagarkoti picked up three wickets while Shivam Mavi picked up two wickets.

Roger Federer vs Hyeon Chung

Roger Federer moved to the final of 2018 Australian Open as Korea’s Hyeon Chung retired hurt in the second set as Federer led the match with 6-1, 5-2. Federer will face Marin Cilic in the final on Sunday.
