South Africa vs India, 3rd Test, Johannesburg 

The third day of the third Test ended in a controversial manner as the umpires stopped the match as the pitch was deemed dangerous for the players. South Africa started day four at 17/1 with a delayed start due to wet outfield. India was bundled out for 247 in the second innings on day three setting the hosts a target of 240 with two more days of play left. Mohammed Shami removed Aiden Markram early in the second innings. South Africa was 60/1 at the time of writing.

Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, Final, Dhaka

Sri Lanka was bundled out for 221 in their 50 overs. Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first but did not have an ideal start to their innings as they lost Gunathilaka in the third over. Upul Tharanga top-scored for the touring side with a score of 56 runs. Captain Dinesh Chandimal and Niroshan Dickwella played healthy knocks of 45 and 42 runs respectively. Rubel Hossain was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh as he picked up four wickets.

Australian Open, Women’s Single, Final

Simona Halep and Caroline Wozniacki

Number one seed Simona Halep and second seed Caroline Wozniacki face each other in the final of the 2018 Australian Open. Wozniacki won the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6(2). Simona Halep then won the second set 6-3. Wozniacki won the first game of the third set at the time of writing.

IPL 2018, Auction

The biggest bid was made by Rajasthan Royals for the England all-rounder Ben Stokes. Rajasthan bought the star England player for a huge amount of 12.5 crores. Stokes has been the highest paid cricketer in the auction till now. KL Rahul and Manish Pandey bagged 11 crores each and will play for Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively.

Yeovil Town vs Manchester United

Manchester United defeated Yeovil Town 4-0 in a fourth-round match. Marcus Rashford, Ander Herera, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku scored for United. Alexis Sanchez bagged the man of the match award in his debut match for Manchester United.
