After registering the victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the defending champion qualified for playoffs without their captain. Rohit Sharma has not played for Mumbai Indians in the last couple of matches after he had sustained hamstring in his left leg during the match against KXIP. His availability for the next coming matches is also not confirmed.

He is looking forward to the next match against SunRisers Hyderabad on Tuesday (November 3). Although they have qualified for playoffs, he has marked the match against SRH to be important for them to keep the momentum.

“Now that we know we have qualified, it’s a good achievement. All the hard work that we did before we came here and also when we came here, it all paid off.

“So, one hurdle which is being crossed, another small little tournament to play for us and before that we still got one more game against SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad),” Rohit said in a video posted on MI’s official Twitter page.
