India vs Australia 2017, 1st T20, Ranchi

India and Australia will face off in the first of the three T20 matches on Saturday in Ranchi. The match will begin at 7:00 PM IST. Shikhar Dhawan is back for the India team and would be hoping to start from where he left before going to a break. On the other hand, the Australian team suffered another setback as their skipper was ruled out of the series and will fly back home early. Marcus Stoinis has been recalled to the squad and replace the skipper.

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2017, 2nd Test, Dubai

Sri Lanka finished Day One of the second Test at 254/3 with Dimuth Karunratne scoring his seventh Test century. He stayed unbeaten with Dinesh Chandimal Playing at 49 at stumps on Day One. For Pakistan, Mohammed Amir and Yasir Shah picked up one and two wickets respectively. This is the first Day/Night Test for Sri Lanka.

South Africa vs Bangladesh 2017, 2nd Test, Bloemfontein

South Africa dominated the Day One’s proceedings as they finished at 428/3 at stumps. Dean Elgar scored a century in the second consecutive Test match. He was dismissed at 113. Aiden Markram who missed out on a century in his debut innings scored his maiden century in only his second Test match. Markram scored 143 before being bowled by a delivery from Rubel Hossain. For Bangladesh, Subashish Roy picked up two wickets, and Rubel Hossain picked up one wicket.

FIFA World Cup Under-17, India vs the USA

India began their U-17 World Cup campaign with a 3-0 loss against the USA. This was the first time India played in a FIFA World Cup at any level. However, the Indian team showed some resistance, in the beginning, the Americans were quite strong and cashed in with whatever chances they got.

FIFA World Cup Under-17, Colombia vs Ghana

In one of the most competitive match on Day One of the World Cup, five-time champions Ghana prevailed over Colombia 1-0. Sadiq Ibrahim scored for the African side.

FIFA World Cup Under-17, New Zealand vs Turkey

The only drawn game on an opening day was between New Zealand and Turkey as both the teams scored a goal each. The match ended at 1-1.

FIFA World Cup Under-17, Paraguay vs Mali

Paraguay won their opening match against Mali 3-2 in one of the closest matches on Day One of the World Cup.

FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifiers, Spani vs Albania

Spain Defeated Albania 3-0 to book a spot in the FIFA World Cup 2018 to be played in Russia. Moreno, Isco and Thiago scored for La Roja.

Japanese Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton continued his dominance this season by having the pole position in the Japanese Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel starts second as Valtteri Bottass will serve five-place grid penalty on race day.

Japan Open 2017

Rafael Nadal won the first set of his semi-final against Grigor Dimitrov 6-3 and lost the second set 4-6. However, he is leading the final set 1-0 at the time of publishing this report.
