India Vs Sri Lanka 2017, First Test, Kolkata

Just like the first day the second day of the first Test between India and Sri Lanka, the second day was also affected by rain. India was 74/5 at stumps on day two with Cheteshwar Pujara still batting on a green pitch at 47.
India lost Rahane and Ashwin on day two, both losing their wicket for four. Dasun Shanaka picked up both the wickets of the day. Wriddiman Saha and Pujara were at the crease when rain stopped play.

Roger Federer Vs Marin Cilic
Roger Federer won his third and final round-robin match in three sets against Marin Cilic. Federer lost the first set 6-7(5) but came back strongly beating the Croatian 6-4 and 6-1.
Alexander Zverev Vs Jack Sock

Jack Sock shocked Alexander Zverev to enter the semifinal round winning the match in three sets. Sock started well winning the first set 6-4, but Zverev showed some grit in the second set and defeated Sock 6-1. Sock then came back strongly and won the third set 6-4 to seal the semifinal spot.
ASHES 2017/18
The Australian Cricket Board on Friday announced a 13 man squad for the first Two Ashes Test with a surprise inclusion of the wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Paine.

PV Sindhu Vs Gao Fangjie
Defending champion and India’s only hope remaining in the tournament, PV Sindhu was knocked out of the tournament, in the quarterfinal stage by Chinese teenager Gao Fangjie 11-21, 10-21.
The 19-year-old Fangje who is ranked 89th in the world stunned the second-seeded, as she dominated the match and booked a place for herself in the semi-final.
