India vs Sri Lanka, 3rd T20I, Mumbai
India defeated Sri Lanka by five wickets in the third T20I at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai and whitewashed the tourists 3-0 in the T20I series on Sunday.
India won the toss and chose to bowl first on a pitch which looked good for batting. India bowled decently and restricted the tourists to just 135/7. Jaydev Unadkat and Hardik Pandya picked up two wickets each.
For Sri Lanka, Asela Gunaratne was the top-scorer for the Lankan side, as he scored 36 runs. Sadeera Samarawickrama combined with Gunaratne for a 38-run partnership.
Manish Pandey played the anchors role in the Indian innings and carried his good form in the third match and scored 29 balls 32 runs. Dinesh Karthik and MS Dhoni were involved in a 31-run partnership and won India the match.
Jaydev Unadkat was adjudged the man of the match.

India jumped up to the second spot in the ICC rankings in the shortest format just one place behind arch-rivals Pakistan who is at the top of the table with 124 rating points. India has amazed at 121 points ahead of New Zealand and Windies who are at 120 points.
