Antonio Conte will not be a happy man with the way things are going at his club since the end of the previous season.
The Italian manager lifted the Premier League title in his first season in England and is now determined to improve the quality in the first team to make sure that they are able to repeat their performances from the previous season.
Spanish star Diego Costa was the top goal scorer for the club in the previous season but Chelsea and Conte have decided to let him go and are now in the search for the right player to replace him for the next season.
While Everton’s Romelu Lukaku was high up the wish list, he has now completed a switch to Manchester United, leaving Chelsea to look elsewhere.
One player, they will surely look at is Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Auba offered to Chelsea
The Blues are set to receive a decent fee for Costa and will not be shy of spending on their top transfer targets for the next season.
And reports today suggest that they have been given an opportunity to sign the Borussia Dortmund star this summer.
English news outfit Sky Sports revealed that the 28-year old has been offered to the Blues but the German outfit.
“We are hearing this morning that Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang,” reporter Kaveh Solhekol said on Sky Sports News
He was the top scorer in Germany last season.
“He can leave Dortmund this summer for £70m,” they add.
Aubameyang was close to a move to PSG, which later collapsed while AC Milan and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for him recently.
He is easily one of the best strikers in Europe at the moment but his £70m price tag is a problem for many clubs as it is for the Blues.
Chelsea are also reportedly ready to reject him and are already looking elsewhere for players for the next season.
Morata top transfer target
And reports today claim that Spanish international Alvaro Morata has now become a priority for Chelsea this summer.

The Blues are yet to make a single signing this summer but need a genuine goal scorer who can walk into the first team next season and Morata fits the bill perfectly.
It is understood that Chelsea have made a £62m bid for his services and that they are confident that it will be enough to land Morata this summer.
