Indian wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik praised Virat Kohli for his long awaiting century in red-ball cricket. Karthik lauded Virat Kohli for his patience in his innings to reach his century after almost a gap of three years and five months.
Dinesh Karthik who was seen commentating on Star Sports during the Day 4 of the final test hailed Kohli for his 8th test century against Australia. Kohli said that the most important part of innings is his patience to toil hard for the runs and added that battled against the demons in his mind.

Dinesh Karthik adored Kohli’s batting as it was one most beautiful innings in a very long time. Kohli now has 28 tons in the longer format of the game, with a total of 75 centuries in international cricket. The star Indian batter had last scored a Test century in November of 2019 against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Since then, he couldn’t reach the three-figure mark in international cricket till Asia Cup 2022.
