IND vs WI: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, K L Rahul Hit Nets Before Home T20I Assignment
The Men in Blue have landed in Hyderabad a day before and are now gearing up for the IND-WI T20I series. The three-match limited-overs series will begin from 6th December at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The hosts are, however, in great form ever since their ouster from the semi-final of the prestigious World Cup.
India recently beat Bangladesh in the home T20I and Test series. India defeated Bangladesh in the recently concluded two-match Test series by 2-0. The team performed extraordinarily in the epic pink-ball Test and defeated by an innings and 46 runs whereas they won the T20I series by 2-1.
Nevertheless, the team will now once again go head-on against West Indies in the three-match T20I series and as many ODI matches. The Indian cricketers have kick-started their practice for the first T20I match.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul hit nets ahead of their first home assignment
Although, the Indian national cricket team is on an impeccable journey on their home soil, winning almost every series, including whitewash. The bowling squad of the team has been putting up a good performance throughout the series. In the third T20 match against Bangladesh, Deepak Chahar ruled the entire match where he scalped kindling figures of six wickets releasing 7 runs in 3.2 overs. He brutally smashed the entire Bangladesh club in the decider, helping India continuing on their path victory.
Nevertheless, the team is back at the ground and practising at nets. The social media team of the India national cricket team posted a video of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul hitting nets ahead of the T20I series opener.
