India to meet Thailand in the semi-finals of Kabbadi World Cup 2016 1

After Thailand defeated Japan in the last league match of Kabbadi World Cup 2016 at Ahmedabad, the semi-final line-ups have been decided. Thailand by beating Japan 37-33 have topped their group and will take on India in the semi-finals on Friday. Thailand played brilliant Kabaddi in their last match. Despite trailing in the second half by 6 points, the Thai raiders came back strongly and just did not allow Japan to make a come back into the match.

India who has lost only 1 match so far in the tournament will take on Thailand while Korea will take on Iran in the other semi-final. Indian raiders have looked strong and will have an edge in the semi-finals. Ajay Thakur, Pradeep Narwal, will be main raiders on Friday. India has come back strongly after losing to Korea in the first match of the tournament. Since then they have looked sharp and has not allowed their opponents to come back into the match.

The semi-finals between India and Thailand promises to be a mouth-watering match and if India can continue their winning streak then India will qualify for the finals.

Thailand performed well in today’s match, but come the semi-final Thailand raiders will be under pressure to perform against tough defenders of India. Let’s see who comes out on top in the semi-final between India and Thailand.
