Ravichandran Ashwin is among one of the top-notch spinners in the Indian cricket team. The ex-skipper of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will now be donning the jersey of DC as the franchise picked him through a trade window before the IPL 2020 Auction.
The wily off-spinner scalped 15 wickets for his ex-team in the IPL 2019 and is ready to lead the spin attack for the Capitals.
In the meantime, DC already has the services of the veteran cricketer Amit Mishra, who claimed 11 wickets from the 11 games, last year. And, then comes in the young Sandeep Lamichhane, who is a Nepalese right-handed bowler. The youngster stepped in the tournament in the 2018 season for the then-known Delhi Daredevils.
