With Prithvi Shaw back on the field after serving the eight-months ban imposed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after he failed in a dope test, last year. The young opener is like a force to be reckoned with and when paired with the aggressive hitter, Shikhar Dhawan, the power of DC will double the load for the opponent.
Adding to the spark, DC roped in Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) ex-skipper Ajinkya Rahane and he will be coming in as the third opener for Delhi in the upcoming tournament. In the meantime, Shreyas Iyer, who is the captain of the team will come to play at No.3.
Whereas, the two overseas cricketers Jason Roy or the recently bought Shimron Hetmyer will follow the lead of the captain. The wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will come in at number 5 while Marcus Stoinis could is expected to bat at six.
The entire batting squad for DC seems to be sorted out and with the top-order having the best aggressive hitter, DC could likely chase or set some big scores for the oppositions.
