Ivan Perisic To Become Manchester United's Second Summer Signing Next Week 1

Manchester United are getting close to finalizing a deal for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic as he could be announced as early as next week, according to reports.

The 28-year old has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford in the recent weeks as his fine form has drawn interest from numerous clubs across Europe. Jose Mourinho is set to be busy this summer as he will be making some big signings with Manchester United are returning back to Champions League.

The Red Devils have already announced the signing of Swedish defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica last week and the club are set to spend big on new signings once again this summer.

Perisic has also drawn interest from French giants Paris Saint Germain but Manchester United are believed to be the front runners to sign him as per the reports in Italy. The Red Devils have reportedly agreed personal terms with the player and are willing to double his wages to £100,000-a-week.

The Croatian international has been one of the best players in Italy and have featured for Inter Milan in 42 games. He has managed an impressive 11 goals and 12 assists during the course of the season and is one of the high profile players who are available in the market in summer.

According to Independent, Manchester United could finish the deal as early as next week with the player very keen to play under Jose Mourinho next season. The Portuguese boss is also willing to finish his business early in the transfer market which will get inflated as the days pass by.

However,  Italian giants are looking for a bid around £48-52 million to let Perisic leave to Manchester United but the Red Devils have evaluated him at £15m off the mark and have already submitted an initial bid. But Inter Milan also need another £26m before the end of June to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulations which might favor Manchester United get the player in their evaluation range.

The report also suggests that Perisic is keen to have a new challenge in his career and is ready to move to Premier League. He has already played in Germany for Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund before leaving for Inter Milan.
