WWE News: Jim Ross Took Shots At Seth Rollins & His Girlfriend Becky Lynch

Trading shots at each other have become a regular tradition for the WWE and AEW superstars. Just a few days ago, the current poster boy of the WWE, Seth Rollins took shots at the rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling promotion while talking about a dream match against Kenny Omega.

WWE star to be out for almost a year

During a Q&A session at the Fandemic Tour Con in Houston, Texas, someone asked The Architect bout facing The Cleaner in an unseen bout. Seth Rollins seemed ready to take on one of the best wrestlers of his time when he would be over playing games in the ‘minor leagues’. You can check out his full comments, below,

“When Kenny’s done playing in the minor leagues over there, then he can come and work at the absolute top professional wrestling company in the world in front of the most people and make the most money and have the biggest matches which is with me at WrestleMania.”

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross fired back at the Universal Champion in no time. He brought Rollins’ real-life girlfriend into the conversation to hit him right where it hurts the most.

The veteran commentator who now graces the AEW table, each week, was in conversation with “Grilling JR” w/ Conrad Thompson. He took a jab on the crowd booing Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw and hoped that someday “he’ll be as over as his girlfriend”

He added that he likes the hard work that Seth Rollins puts on, every time he steps inside the ring. But making such a comment towards Kenny Omega made him look very bad,

“Rollins is in a great spot, he’s blessed, maybe someday he’ll be as over as his girlfriend, I don’t know, but nonetheless, I’ve always liked his work. He’s a solid guy, he’s a solid guy, but saying things like that make him look bad and for that, I feel bad for him. I just do.”

The legendary commentator who was once involved with the WWE creative team then shared his view on a dream match between Seth Rollins and Kenny Omega.

He sounded pretty confident that these two will tear the house down. But at the same time, Ross seemed a bit upset over Rollins’ comments who himself is a guy who came out of the indie scenes,

“If Omega and Rollins did have a match it would be a great match because both of them are great workers. I was upset at Seth because I thought his comments made him sound bad, made him sound bush league.

Made him sound like he was one of those guys that was born on third base, woke up and thought he hit a triple because it’s just, for a guy that worked his way through the indies and Tyler Black and Ring Of Honor, great hand, I don’t know what happened some of these guys.” (courtesy Slice Wrestling)
