India outplayed Argentina by 74-20 in their fourth match at Ahmedabad finished just a few minutes ago. It was a dominating display by the Indian team who registered their biggest win of the World Cup. Every player got a chance to raid and this will keep steady ahead in the tournament.
In the first half, the India got off to a perfect start taking a 5-1 lead. In the 5th minute, India gave the first all out to Argentina to take a commanding lead of 12-3. The Indian team continued their dominance over the Argentina defense. In the 10th minute, India gave the second all out to give India 22-5 lead. The Argentina team tried their best to counter the India but the hosts were too strong for them. The Indian team gave the third all out to Argentina which took Indias lead to 35-11. At the end of first half, India led 36-13.
In the second half to India continued their dominance over Argentina. In the fourth minute, India gave the fourth all out to Argentina which took India’s lead to 45-13. Manjeet Chillar and Surjeet Singh produced high five. In the 10th minute India again all out Argentina to take India’s lead to 58-15. It was one-way traffic for the Indian team as they all out again Argentina in the 17th minute to give India a commanding position with a score of 68-18.
Ajay Thakur was the top scorer of the match with 14 points followed by Rahul Chaudhuri with 11 points. Surender Nada, Surjeet, and Manjeet Chillar all got high 5.
India will face England in their next match against England.
