There’s no confirmed update on what the future could hold in this storyline. But the source updated that a strong follow up should be in-store for the angle as Royal Rumble approaches near,
“They are hoping to see ratings increase on Monday with the follow-up to this angle and the official start of the Royal Rumble hype.”

There’s a reason behind WWE officials pushing this angle to the limit as this has been proven to be quite fruitful in terms of viewership.
Three videos from WWE Raw this week went viral and two of them were from Lana and Bobby Lashley’s wedding ceremony. The audience response from the internet was pretty big. Also, the TV ratings showed a tremendous increase making the officials happy.
Only time will tell how much follow up will be reserved on this wedding ceremony leading up to Royal Rumble. But it’s pretty good to see WWE producing a segment that set the internet on fire, as of late.
WWE doesn’t have to compete with Monday Night Football until the Fall. So there are chances that they could utilize this storyline in a big way to garner even double the viewership.
