The angle between Bobby Lashley and Lana received a completely new dimension on this past episode of WWE Raw. The wedding of the decade between these two was converted into a full-fledged brawl which was pretty expected to go by the history of such televised wedding in the past.

But Liv Morgan made headlines as she interrupted the wedding of Lana and Bobby Lashley. She claimed to be in a past relationship with Lana which resulted in a brawl to end the ceremony. It stirred the IWC giving them a new topic of discussion about how WWE used a homosexual angle for ‘shock value’.

Wrestling News has now given updates stating that they’ve been told Vince McMahon loved the segment. He loves this storyline and the drama went down the way he wanted it to be. He also reportedly wants to do “more crazy stories like this” in the future depending on the head creative of WWE Raw, Paul Heyman,

“According to a WWE source, Vince McMahon was very happy with how everything played out to end the show. The source told me, “Vince has wanted to do more crazy stories like this but he has to balance things out to satisfy the people at USA [Network] and the sponsors. He got what he wanted this week and the overrun did nice numbers so Vince is in a good mood.”

CM Punk Reacts To Bobby Lashley & Lana’s Wedding On WWE Raw

With this much attention from both lovers and haters of this storyline, it makes much sense as to why WWE wants to stretch this angle up to WrestleMania 36. With Monday Night Football season past behind, they can score big in ratings as the busiest season in pro-wrestling begins from January.

Meanwhile, it was after a long time that WWE used a Lesbian angle on their PG TV. While the critics are up to discussing the rightness of the storyline, the central character commented on this. Lana delivered a statement saying one shouldn’t assume someone’s sexuality. Here are her thoughts,

“Don’t assume someone’s sexuality. Just because they are not outspoken in the LGTBQ community doesn’t mean that they’re not pansexual, bisexual, gay, transgender or trying to process their sexuality. Even if they are married. For many it’s complicated. Please have compassion.”
