After being left out of the squad against France, Leroy Sane has now withdrawn from the Germany squad is set to miss their next game against Peru. Sane will miss the clash against Peru on Sunday (September 9).
Citing personal reasons, Sane has asked for a leave. However, the reason is yet to be known. According to some rumours, he is expecting a baby.
DFB tweeted: “Sane has left the team hotel in Munich after consultation with national coach Joachim Low on Friday for private reasons.”
The 22-year-old was a vital part of Manchester City (MC) last season, but it all started to fall apart soon. He was shockingly left out of Joachim Low’s 23-man World Cup squad in Russia is now struggling in Manchester City too.
The youngster didn’t get the opportunity to start for City yet.
And this was not enough to take for the young forward. The winger missed squad in City’s 2-1 victory against Newcastle United (NU) this weekend.

He was also the victim of criticism from his fellow team-mate Toni Kroos. The German midfielder questioned his body language and character in a recent interview.
He said:
“He could be a real weapon for us. I think Leroy is an absolute team player. You sometimes get the feeling that it doesn’t matter to him if we win or lose. But that’s only his body language. I don’t know if that’s the case. He has his qualities.”
The 2014 World Champions drew 0-0 against the current champions in the UEFA Nations League. They will face Peru next.
On Thursday, Leroy Sane made the eleventh appearance for the national team, Germany. He marked his return after missing out on a place in the World Cup squad.
