Liverpool have officially contacted Juventus forward Pulo Dybala over a free transfer switch this summer but recent reports suggest that Inter Milan are leading the race for the Argentine superstar. Last week, it was reported that Dybala decided to leave Old Lady after his contract negotiation talks broke down. Liverpool, Chelsea, and Barcelona registered their interest in Dybala and now Reds become the first player to contact the player.
The 28-year-old Argentine forward arrived at Turin in 2015 and has become one of the best forward players in Europe with consistent impressive displays. Dybala has scored 79 goals in 197 Serie A appearances and has won 12 titles with Juventus. But the player is finally ready to end his successful stint with Old Lady as his contract expires in the next six months. Juventus had an improved contract offer on the table for Dybala but this week it was reported that the club withdrew their initial offer and proposed a new offer with wage deduction.
This sudden change has resulted in Dybala leaving Turin at the end of this month. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is also set to sell Spanish striker Alvaro Morata who is pushing for Barcelona move this month. Allegri is chasing the 21-year-old Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic and the club have a £63 million offer accepted already, now it’s up to the Serbian star to agree on personal terms. If they pull off this deal then Dybala is expected to leave the Turing this month for a cut-price.

Liverpool attacking trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane have just 18 months remaining on their Anfield contracts and will be in their thirties this summer. Merseyside giants are looking to offload Mane and Firmino this summer before they enter their last year of a contract next season. Mohamed Salah offered a contract already and is expected to sign an extension in the coming weeks. Now manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to replace Firmino with Dybala who has a similar gameplay style compared to the Brazilian.
Dybala plays a deep-lying forward role, behind the striker and provides cover to wingers as well. He is well-known for his creative skills, vision, and finishing and is considered as one of the best forwards in the world, and that’s why it will cost around £300-a-week to sign him. According to a report from Sportitalia, Liverpool have contacted Dybala and are willing to pay his desired wage package but Italian champions Inter Milan are ahead of the Reds.
Inter Milan are also in search of forward player as Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez are expected to leave San Siro at the end of this month. Argentine star Lautoro Martinez will be the only recognized striker at Inter Milan manager Simeone Izhagi has identified Dybala to accompany Martinez next season. Dybala has scored 11 goals and 4 assists in 23 matches this season and is expecting Serie A stay. Juventus are also hoping for Dybala stay are preparing a new contract offer in the coming weeks.
