Manchester United have given a green light for Donny van de Beek’s loan exit after consistent requests from the player. Manager Ralf Rangnick clearly ruled out his exit in the January transfer window a few days ago but it looks like the player himself is pushing for an imminent exit at Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old Dutch midfielder has never settled at Old Trafford after his famous move from Ajax in 2020 for a transfer fee of £40 million. He was never given consistent first-team chances to show his worth by former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Ralf Rangnick promised a regular game time for the player earlier this month but we can’t see this happening soon.

After Paul Pogba’s early injury this season, De Beek was expected to feature more in an advanced midfield role, but he has failed to start any Premier League match this season. He has made 8 league appearances from the bench this season and has played just 68 minutes of league football. But now Pogba has returned to training and that will further decrease his chances at Old Trafford. De Beek was dropped from Netherlands national team last year for his lack of playing time with the Red Devils. With World Cup 2022 being close, he needs regular first-team exposure to regain his place in Louis Van Gaal’s team.

Crystal Palace And Everton In Direct Race For Manchester United Midfielder Donny Van De Beek Loan:

Manchester United are not looking to offload the Dutch star on a permanent basis as they still believe he has a lot to offer next season. Also, Red Devils are not looking to include an obligation to buy in his loan deal. Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira is consistent in his chase for De Beek this month and is interested in signing him on a permanent basis.

According to reports from Sky Sport, Everton are leading the race for Donny van de Beek over Crystal Palace and they are likely to win his signature. The Toffees’ interest emerged after the appointment of manager Frank Lampard who wants former Ajax midfielder as his first signing Goodison Park. Everton recently lost their key holding midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure to injury and Fabian Delph and Tom Davies are already sidelined.
