Mike and Maria Kanellis have been released by WWE on April 15th due to budget cuts related to coronavirus pandemic. Now they are both free agents to take other bookings as the no-compete clause with the WWE has just expired. The red-haired diva isn’t okay with how things ended with the WWE but that doesn’t mean she’s giving up on a bright future.
Maria Kanellis is a mother of two babies who still has the looks of what it takes to be a gorgeous mommy. So she’s definitely not shy to showcase her great body in front of the camera. She just uploaded a new mirror selfie that appeared to be quite revealing. The important question she posed for the fans was that why she can’t expect to have a better career while being a mother.
“So many women I know feel marginalized because they have children. How do we change this? Why can’t I have a family and a career? Why can’t I be sexy and mommy? Why do I have to be one of the boys to be a business woman? #feminist #milkmoney #nonessentialfamily.”
It appears that Maria Kanellis still holds grudge the way WWE did show her the doors, earlier this year. She was pregnant with her second child that didn’t suit well with the WWE officials. So the First Lady sent out several tweets which included things she heard from WWE during her time within the company.
In a series of tweets, Maria Kanellis revealed the kind of things that she had to hear out from WWE. It wasn’t clear whether WWE was convincing her to re-sign with them, or they were trying to console her prior to the release. Take a look at those phrases used by WWE as pointed out by the former 24/7 Champion.
“Look at the position (she) put you in by naming you. – @wwe
I am not spilling tea, spreading gossip, or ranting. I am giving the fans insight into what my husband and I were told/experienced. Period. If you insult me I will automatically block you. I am not arguing facts with people that were not in the room or are children.
(He) still wants to sign you to this. -@WWE
We used to get away with a lot, we can’t get away with (that) anymore. -@wwe
It would be good for your career. -@WWE”
Maria Kanellis and her husband Mike Bennett are now looking forward to starting the next chapter of their career. They were supposed to show up at Impact Slammiversary this past Sunday but that wasn’t the case. We still wait to know which promotion they would decide to affiliate with, next in their career as Maria’s pledge to be a gorgeous mother as well as pursue a successful wrestling stint continues.
