It looks like Matt Hardy’s journey with the WWE has come to an end following what transpired on last night’s WWE Raw. He was viciously attacked by Randy Orton which appeared to be an angle to write him off the TV, perhaps for the last time during his active in-ring career. The veteran superstar also hinted the same on his social media account after the show went off the air hinting it was his last appearance on the flagship show.

WWE Raw Full Results: February 10, 2020
Randy Orton appeared on the February 10th edition of WWE Raw to address his attack on WWE Hall of Famer Edge from two weeks ago. He was soon interrupted by Matt Hardy with whom Edge shares a long history with. The crowd was happy to see the veteran one coming in defense of his long-term rival. They even chanted for another Hall of Famer Lita who was involved in a love triangle alongside Hardy and Edge.

Matt Hardy Responds WWE Not Considering Him Top Talent Anymore
Matt Hardy spoke about revolutionized the tag team division of the WWE with those historic TLC matches with Edge and Christian. Orton did give a damn about Hardy respecting Edge and went for the RKO. Matt blocked the first RKO attempt, but Randy Orton ended up connecting in the second chance.
Orton then smashed Matt’s head between two steel chairs (Con-Chair-To move), just like he did to Edge a few weeks ago.

Following this, Matt Hardy posted Goodbye on Twitter linking to the latest episode of his Free The Delete series on YouTube. It does mean that this attack from Randy Orton was planned to write him off the TV as his deal with the WWE comes to an end, soon. Plus, he might be planning to come back with the ‘Broken’ gimmick, once he becomes the free agent.
WrestlingINC.com provided an update on Matt Hardy stating the following,
“Matt’s WWE contract is scheduled to expire on Sunday, March 1. The “major hurdle” between Matt and WWE officials has not been pay, but creative differences over how he would be used moving forward. There’s no official word yet on if tonight’s angle with Orton was done to write Matt off WWE TV, but it looks like it could be.”
