Mohammad Salah Sergio Ramos

After the final of the Champions League in Kiev, the Salah-Ramos saga continued for too long. And, the Eygpt sensation has finally broken his silence on ‘that’ tackle of Sergio Ramos during his interview with Marca.

A few days ago, Ramos broke his silence and said the Egyptian could have played with some help of pain-killer injections. Mohammad Salah did not like this piece of advice from the Real Madrid captain.

That’s funny…I always say that everything is alright when the one who made you cry is now making you laugh. Maybe he can also tell me if I’m going to be ready for the World Cup?” Salah said.

Ramos also claimed he called Salah after the final. The Liverpool star didn’t deny but had a smell of anger in his words.

I don’t know…Maybe? It’s true that he texted me, but I never told him that I was okay.”

Salah spoke further about the injury and the tackle which forced him off in the biggest game of his career so far. He claims the fear of missing the World Cup with Egypt made him even more overwhelmed.

That was the toughest moment in my career, I had pain, but I was also worried and sad because I couldn’t play the Champions League Final. Shortly after I also thought about the possibility of missing the World Cup and that was devastating as well.”

I’m better now, I hope that I can play the game against Uruguay, but that will depend on how I feel when the time comes.”

The FIFA World Cup 2018 will kick-off in Russia on 14 June. Egypt will play their opening game against Uruguay on the very next day.

The world will be waiting to see if Salah can make it or not in Egypt’s first game of the World Cup.
