Chris Gayle is unarguably the best T20 batsman of the cricket world. Since the inception of the 20-over format, he set new bars with his explosive batting. In the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 also, the opening batsman powered up the innings for the West Indies from the first ball. However, he featured in only two matches during the tournament but was successful to enlist his name on this list.
Gayle scored 117 runs, striking 10 sixes and seven four, in two matches at the staggering striking rate of 195.00 with an average of 58.50.
The self-proclaimed Universe Boss is, currently, the only batsman to score over 10,000 runs in the T20 format.
