There have been heavy criticisms over bad booking of the WWE Women’s Division in recent times. The so-called Women’s Evolution may not be going in full effect due to poor booking of the prime stars of the female division. One of the cornerstones and former champion, Paige is not happy about this and let her frustration knew about the current condition.

Charlotte Flair Noted Whether WWE Women’s Evolution Is Held Back

WWE does have a lot of talented female superstars on their roster and Paige wants them all getting a proper spotlight. She appeared on WWE After The Bell podcast hosted by Corey Graves who brought up the current state of the WWE Women’s Division. He mentioned how the Women’s Evolution took backseat just after the WrestleMania 35 main event.

Paige seemed to be utterly frustrated after hearing this. She complained about why WWE has not been able to deliver some more big-time PPV main-events following the WrestleMania marquee match. She stated how the females are not given enough opportunities,

“Oh, don’t even get me started with that, dude. That is why — I don’t understand why we don’t have another girls’ pay-per-view. We had that one-off deal like what the hell was that about?! Give us one every year, like what the f*ck?!”

“That was the whole purpose. You had a Women’s Evolution for a reason. I was like ‘F*ck it, let’s stop talking about the Women’s Evolution and actually let the women do whatever they want. I feel like a lot of the girls are being held back.”

The former Divas Champion also made a valid point while talking to Corey. She said that WWE should also provide good booking to superstars other than Charlotte, Beck or Sasha. There are plenty of talents available except for the Four-Horsewomen who should receive more opportunities.

“I love the Four Horsewomen — do not get me wrong — I love I love Sasha I love Charlotte I love Bayley I love Becky I love them all, but there’s a lot of women that should be given an opportunity.”

“Like I’m excited for Liv to come back. I’m like damn yes, some fresh faces, I love seeing Nattie. I love seeing Lacey. I love it. I love it all, so like as much as I love those four it’s like there are other women in the company.” (courtesy ringsidenews.com)

As of now, rumors suggest that Ronda Rousey is the favorite to win the 2020 Royal Rumble match. She would go on to headline WrestleMania and face Becky Lynch in a match that would no less than of a main-event match caliber.
