After the euphoria of the international break, club football is back and back strongly as Barcelona will now be back in action, less than 72 hours after their 4-1 victory over Granda at the weekend away from home.
The Catalan giants were without some of their most influential players in that game but managed to run out comfortably with all three points on the night.
However, they still stand five points off Real Madrid at the top of the points table, having also played a game more.
Luis Enrique will know his team cannot afford any more slip-ups this season but they face a tricky test this week when they face Jorge Sampaoli’s Sevilla side at the Camp Nou.
Sevilla are fresh from a draw against Sporting but will hope to put in a better performance against the Catalan giants in this game.
Barcelona have had their issues against their next opponents in recent times but Luis Enrique will hope that his side can get the work done quickly and take home a victory to put the pressure on their Madrid counterparts.
