The main event of Wrestlemania 36 is all set from the night after Royal Rumble 2020. The winner of the men’s Rumble match, Drew McIntyre confirmed that he’d be going after Brock Lesnar and his WWE Championship.

This is a desperate try from WWE’s part to establish a top babyface name on the Monday Night Raw roster who would rule the division for years to follow.

Now the latest reports indicate that the Scottish Psychopath is all set to pick up the biggest win of his career and start his own legacy at the ‘show of shows’.

Reason Why WWE Made Goldberg The New Universal Champion

According to Wrestlingnews.co, Men’s Royal Rumble 2020 winner Drew McIntyre is scheduled to beat Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36.

It does not surprise us considering WWE is building Drew McIntyre as the strongest babyface star, at this time who could match up to the level of Brock Lesnar. Also, once WrestleMania 36 gets over, Lesnar is scheduled to go on a hiatus, while McIntyre will be cementing his legacy by defending the WWE Championship against various heel opponents from Raw roster.

Post-Wrestlemania 36 Plans Revealed For WWE Championship 2

As noted by the source, one of those heel opponents for Drew McIntyre after WrestleMania 36 should be the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion, Seth Rollins. This is not a fresh feud by any means considering we have seen McIntyre vs. Rollins matches in the past. But the dimension would be changed as McIntyre is a babyface where Rollins turned heel.

These future plans also indicate that Seth Rollins won’t be losing his momentums on WWE Raw, at all. He’s dominating whoever standing in his path with AOP and Murphy providing him backup. The tradition should continue en route to Wrestlemania.

Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre seemed confident while facing The Beast Incarnate at the biggest event of the year, (as stated in an interview with Bleacher Report)

“I know I’ve got a beast breathing down my neck. There’s nobody in the world like Brock at any sport. And I know he’s coming for me. Some people get upset like, ‘Oh, Brock Lesnar, he doesn’t show up to work and blah blah blah blah.’ I mean, to be fair, he signed a contract where he doesn’t have to. We can’t hold that against him. What I hold against him is the fact he’s got our title. We need that title on TV. We need it in the live events. That’s a very important part of RAW, and I want it back.”
