WWE has confirmed another Elimination Chamber match for this year’s edition during this week’s episode of SmackDown. For the second time in history, the tag team titles will be on the line inside this demonic cage forcing the current champions, The Miz and John Morrison to defend against five different teams.

The full lineup of the match is going to be The Usos vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. Heavy Machinery vs. Lucha House Party vs. The New Day vs. new SmackDown Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz. The bout takes place inside the Elimination Chamber structure where the blue brand tag team titles will be on the line.

With that being said, it looks like there won’t be any men’s division Elimination Chamber match, this year. This would be for the first time that no singles division titles from the male roster won’t be on the line making the 2020 edition a rare one. Even the host arena website has also confirmed the same by updating their advertisements.
Updated WWE Elimination Chamber Match Card After Big Announcements
The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was previously advertising a men’s division matchup with the winner going to challenge for the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 36. The participants listed for this match were Robert Roode, Roman Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura, King Baron Corbin, Daniel Bryan, and WWE Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman.
This match has now been removed from the promotional following WWE’s change in plans. The arena is now promoting the tag team Elimination Chamber match, instead, which was confirmed during this week’s SmackDown. Roman Reigns was the original favorite to win the earlier speculated match. But as confirmed by WWE, he will now face Goldberg for the Universal Championship, directly.
As for the third Elimination Chamber match, it appeared WWE had plans for a second one for the Women’s division after Lacey Evans referenced the same during a SmackDown segment. Till now, the ongoing suggests Evans and five other superstars will get a shot for the SmackDown Women’s Title via this upcoming contest. But no confirmations were made regarding this.
The first Elimination Chamber match was confirmed from RAW Women’s Division where we will see Shayna Baszler, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Natalya, Liv Morgan, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka battle. The winner will go on to WrestleMania 36 challenging RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Baszler is the top favorite to win this Chamber match.
