Plans for AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon changed? Check out what matches these two would be involved into 1

Dave Meltzer broke the news first when he leaked the plans for WrestleMania match card. Most of the matches from his card are coming out to be true.

Among them, there was a match between AJ Styles and the Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon. Odds were going in favour of this match too.

Fans are really unhappy to see this match is being built up slowly. To be honest, we also believe AJ Styles deserves better contest at least at WrestleMania.

Nothing against Shane McMahon though, he showcased an excellent performance against the Undertaker last year at the Grandest Stage of them All. But Undertaker has nothing more to achieve, so involving him in a match with Shane did not affect his career much. But it does not look good for AJ Styles.

After having a tremendous debut year, a successful world championship run, he deserves a better opponent if not the main event.

Keeping eye on the reaction of most of the fans, it looks like WWE officials have finally decided to cancel this match.

It is being said Shane McMahon will face some Raw guy for the brand supremacy. It is also being said that Shane McMahon will face Mick Foley in a Smackdown vs. Raw brand warfare.

But what is the match planned for AJ Styles? Well, it is still uncertain. Even though a number of sources claim that WWE have decided to put AJ Styles on the main event of WrestleMania after seeing the crazy support for him by the fans.

After tonight’s Smackdown, it looks like WWE might arrange a fatal 4-way main event for WrestleMania involving the champion Bray Wyatt, the winner of the Royal Rumble match Randy Orton, the former Wyatt family member Luke Harper and the phenomenal one AJ Styles.

This would certainly be a greater main event than a plain Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt match or a triple threat Wyatt family warfare. Let us see where all these odds and rumour take us to.
