MUMBAI, July 26, 2017: As the football season is on the horizon, Samsung India was announced as the Presenting Sponsor for the broadcast of the much awaited 26th Season of the Premier League. Star Sports, India’s leading sports broadcaster, will bring live matches to football fans in India on Star Sports Select and Star Sports Select HD. The Premier League, which will take place on August 12, 2017, to May 13, 2018, will see Chelsea F.C.’s title defence on the opening day of the season.

Star Sports has been at the forefront of delighting ardent Premier League fans in India, with live Premier League-specific shows during the 2016-17 season. The 2017-18 season will witness first of its kind television broadcast innovation through the Star Sports Select Add On service, offering a superior experience to fans. Fans will get a wider choice of live matches, tactical feeds and more match highlights to choose from this year’s PL broadcast. The Star sports select Add On service will be available on Tata Sky.
