Prithvi Shaw recently made his comeback into the Indian team for the New Zealand T20I series after being out of the team for the better part of the last two years. Injuries and behavior issues, apart from mistaken cough syrup ingestion made Shaw fall out of favor with Indian selectors.
But he has been knocking on the doors of the Indian cricket team with truckloads of runs in domestic cricket including both white-ball and red-ball cricket. He hit a double century in the Vijay Hazare List-A tournament a season ago and most recently, hammered the second-highest score in India First-Class cricket when he scored 379 runs for Mumbai against Assam in Ranji Trophy 2022-23.
This led to him getting a call-up for the Indian team, but couldn’t get a chance in playing XI. He warmed the bench in all three matches, as India preferred Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill over him for the opener’s role.
Now with domestic cricket over, Shaw is waiting for the IPL 2023 to start as he can then showcase his talent for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League.
Recently, he posted some photos on his Instagram account on Valentine’s Day, February 14. n a picture that was shared from the 23-year-old cricketer’s Instagram account, he can be seen having a cozy moment with his rumored girlfriend Niddhi Tapadia, an actress and model.
He soon deleted the photos which had the caption: “Happy valentines my wifey” and tagged Niddhi as well. But by then, fans and followers had screenshotted the photos and made it go viral.

Hence when he posted photos with Niddhi on Valentine’s Day 2023, his fans and followers were quite surprised. However, now the cricketer has shared a clarification on his Instagram, asking them to ignore all photos and messages.
He posted a story with message: “Someone editing my pics and showing stuffs that I haven’t put on my story or on my page. So please ignore all the tags and msges thx.”
