Real Madrid have one of the strongest squads in Europe at the moment and it does not come as a surprise that they managed to become the first team to retain the Champions League trophy last season.

Zinedine Zidane also helped the club to their first league title in more than three years but is desperate to improve the quality in the squad to help them repeat their performances from the previous season.

This will mean that Zidane will let go of a number of fringe players from the first team this summer.

One such player constantly linked with an exit is defender Danilo.

The 25-year old Brazilian full-back joined the club back in 2015 and has already made 41 league appearances for the side in the last couple of seasons.

He has not been able to establish himself in the first team under the current manager and has constantly been linked with an exit this summer.

Juventus desperate for his signature

Italian giants Juventus are one of the many clubs that are constantly linked with a move for the 25-year old this summer.

The Serie A side have allowed Dani Alves to leave in the middle of his contract with the club throwing them into a search of a new full-back who can walk into the first team and Juve are adamant that Danilo is the right man.

However, it is reported that Juventus have made a €15m bid for his services, to try and see if Real are ready to part way.

Real Madrid want more for Danilo

But it is understood that the Spanish giants are not ready to let him leave and that Juventus have to meet his valuation if they are to land their top transfer target this summer.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Real Madrid have rejected the €15m bid from the Italian champions and are ready to hold out for a fee of €31.5m, a price they paid for his services a couple of years ago.

The reports also claim that Juventus have agreed to personal terms with the player for a move this summer but are yet to agree on a fee with the club.

They have tabled a bid of €15m + addons and it is understood that Juventus are now ready to make an improved bid to land him this summer.
