Could The Undertaker extend his career in the WWE? The answer would be yes if the latest promo around next year’s Wrestlemania is any indication. WWE recently confirmed the date and location of the ‘show of shows’ for 2021. As seen in the promo, The Phenome is being advertised which may be a hint that he’s not hanging up his boots, anytime soon. However, airing Undertaker in a vignette does not confirm his status, however.

Amidst rumors of his career, WWE has now confirmed the next appearance of The Undertaker which has nothing to do with his next match. As per the recent Twitter update, WWE confirmed that he will be appearing in another fan meet-and-greet event,

“The Undertaker will be at LAX Fan Fest at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport, Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, February 29th, at 11:30 am! Sponsored by @FitermanSports.”

It should be noted that with his in-ring appearances getting trimmed down, each year, The Undertaker is willing to make more such appearances. He will have to cope up with the retirement life and this might come as a preparation for what is in store for him after the illustrious career comes to an end.

As of now, there’s no confirmed update on whether WWE has booked The Undertaker for the Wrestlemania 36 set to take place on April 5th, 2020. He is being speculated to perform in a dream match as rumors are running strong about Hall of Famer Sting getting medically cleared by WWE doctors.

According to talkSPORT, Sting has been cleared by the doctors that allow him to be back in action. He is most likely to be competing against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 36,

“WCW icon has been medically cleared to have another WWE match. And it’s believed that match will be with The Undertaker.

Whether it is on or off, Sting seems determined to get his match and Undertaker would likely enjoy working with him too.”

Previously, The Dirty Sheets also reported that Sting signed a deal with WWE during Royal Rumble 2020 weekend for at least one more match. This could very well be happening against The Undertaker whom Sting always wanted to face, all these years. Hopefully, the match becomes a reality, soon.
