WrestleMania is just more than two months away in the calendar and it looks like WWE will be hosting it without two of their biggest superstars. The Undertaker and Ronda Rousey are the two potential names who are most likely to miss the grandest event of the year despite heavy rumors that they will be available when the biggest event of the year emanates, this April.
As per the reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that The Undertaker is not currently booked for a match on the WrestleMania card. He is reportedly negotiating a potential appearance at the event with WWE officials which is yet to be confirmed.
WWE Stops Planning With Ronda Rousey For WrestleMania 36
The backstage feel is that with so many heavy lineups already being planned, Undertaker could be saved for future Saudi Arabia appearances, instead.
Last year, it was the first time since 2000 where The Undertaker did not wrestle at WrestleMania. The last worked a match on the biggest event of the year was when he defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 34 in 2018.
As for Ronda Rousey, she is also not scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania 36. The current plan is that Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair will challenge WWE NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley at the biggest stage, while Becky Lynch will face NXT’s Shayna Baszler for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Bayley will face Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship which does not leave room for Ronda Rousey to make a comeback.
Previously the plan was that Ronda Rousey will be back in time to settle unfinished business with Becky at WrestleMania. However, that may not be the case as the creative team is yet to finalize her returning angle.
Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey appeared on “After The Bell” podcast hosted by Corey Graves to reveal that she would like to see Flair challenge Rhea Ripley in April. Even she herself wants to face the NXT Women’s Champion, someday as per her comments,
“Rhea Ripley. Oh my god, she is doing amazing. I would love to have a match with her someday. She matches up with everyone so differently and there are so many things she could really pull out of people that you can’t do with anybody else, so I’m really looking forward to seeing if we ever get that opportunity, but I’d love to get in the ring with her. She’s fantastic.”
