Former three times WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio who is a future WWE Hall of Famer recently talked about his wrestling style. Mysterio is very famous among the fans because of his excellent highflying wrestling ability.

Mysterio started his professional visiting career back in 1989 in Mexico when he was only 14 year old. He was trained by Rey Mistirio sr. After travelling in a number of promotions he got his first big break when he was signed by the Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1995. Just after one year she was signed by the WCW.

Rey Mysterio On His Wrestling Style

After WWE bought WCW in 2001 he did not get a WWE contract instantly as he travelled in the independent promotions for a year before finally getting a WWE contract in 2002. From the very first day of his WWE career had been very impressive. Fans really loved him for his amazing high flying abilities.

Even though WWE has seen as a cruiserweight at first, he received immense popularity forced WWE to lift him as a main eventer. In 2006 he won his first WWE World Championship as he won the Royal Rumble match of the mentioned year and defeated Randy Orton and Triple H at WrestleMania 22. Currently he is doing an excellent tag team work with his son Dominik Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio who is a Former three times WWE world recently spoke to Sports Illustrated where he talked about his wrestling style. He said;

“My wrestling style helped revolutionize the sport, and that’s why I wrestle the way I wrestle—it’s my way of thanking them all. Without them paving the way, there is no Rey Mysterio. Not only myself, but others like Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis.

“Eddie Guerrero and Konnan. We were given a chance to change this industry. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to make a mark, and I took advantage of that. I did that not just for me, but those who came before me and those you’ll see in the future.”
