In a recent interview the seven time grand slam champion and former no 1 Mats Wilander voiced his opinion that Novak Djokovic will continue to dominate the Grand Slam events in the future.

While asked whether Roger Federer can add another grand slam to his tally or else it is possible for the Brit Andy Murray to win his third grand slam title he replied at the moment it’s not possible.

“As long as Novak Djokovic is there and continues to play at this level, I don’t think so,” Wilander said. “It is as simple as that.”

Further in the interview he added that Djokovic’s game is improving with time and the Serbian doesn’t seem to tire anytime soon. He also added that players like Kei Nishikori, Tomas Berdych and Andy Murray can be the contestant to challenge the world no 1 but still they can’t stand any chance against the world no 1.

Statistics reveal that how much the Serbian has been dominant since 2011 as he won 8 grand slams and the likes of Roger Federer and Andy Murray have combined to win just 3. In 2015 the Serbian has just lost 3 matches and has won Australian Open and Wimbledon. However, he failed to capture the crown which he badly needed the French Open. Djokovic looks the firm favourite to win the US Open 2015 as well.
