Sachin Tendulkar Congratulates Asian Games Medallists

The Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the Asian Games medallists. India has won four medals thus far in the 18th edition of the Asian Games. Therefore, India is currently in the seventh place in the Medals Tally with China on the numero uno position.
Thus, Sachin Tendulkar gave his best wishes to wrestler Bajrang Punia who opened India’s account of the gold medal in the games. Deepak Kumar bagged a silver medal in the 10 meter Air Rifle. Meanwhile, the mixed air rifle team of Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar got a bronze medal.
Indian Athletes Makes the Country Proud.
Indian pair scored 429.9 in the final round to take the third place on the podium. Meanwhile, Chinese Tapei won the gold medal with the score of 494.1.
Lakshay Sheoran won the second silver medal for the Indian contingent in the 2018 Asian Games going on in Jakarta. Thus, it is a promising start for India on the second day of the Asian Games.
On the other hand, Bajrang Punia won the gold medal in the 65 kg category. However, India’s hopes will reliant heavily on the shoulders of Sushil Kumar.
But the star wrestler lost his qualification bout 3-5 to Bahrain’s Adam Batirov in the 74kg category. Meanwhile, Sumit Malik will fight for the bronze medal.
Consequently, the Indian athletes have made the whole nation proud by their achievement.
