Saina Nehwal , Indian ace shuttler beat Inaton of Thailand in straight sets 21-16,21-14 in the finals of the Yonex Indian Open Super Series at the Siri Fort Complex at New Delhi just few minutes ago. It was a dominating performance by Saina who dominated the game throughout with excellent badminton. It was watched by full capacity crowd today at the Complex cheering for Saina.

In the first game Saina started off to great start taking 4-0 lead though Intanon had started with the service. After that Intanon started scoring with her high rise services and both the players took alternate points to reach 8-5. Thereafter Saina took 3 successive points to reach at the interval 11-5. Soon after the interval Inaton played good badminton of shots and drops at nets to take 5 successive points to make it 10-12. After that Saina continued her domination and took 5 points to make 17-10. Intanon tried to make comeback in the game and reached 15 points but Saina took the first game 21-16.

In the second game Saina again started off to a positive note taking a straight 5-0 lead. After that both of the players took alternate points till 8-4. Intanon took 1 point to make 5-8. Saina took 3 points as against one by the opponent to reach 11-6 lead at the interval. Saina after the interval took two points to make it 13-6. Both the player again took alternate points till 19-14 with some very good drops and down the line shots. Then Intanon made some unforced errors enabling Saina to wrap up the match 21-14.

She is first player to win a home super series title. In the year 2015 she has been in excellent form so far winning 2 titles and runners up in All England Badminton tournament. She deserves to be world no 1 official announcement to come on 2 April 2015.
