Saina Storms into finals of All England Badminton Championship 2015

Saina enters the finals of All England Badminton Championship 2015 beating Chinese Sun Yun in two sets 21-13, 21-13 very comfortably. It was a great performance by the Indian ace shuttler as she completed dominated the game and did not allow the Chinese a chance in the game.

In the first game of match Saina trailed 0-2 early on and showed intent to move as Sun moved to 4-1 lead. Sun Yun kept the pressure to lead 6-1 but Saina came back into the match as she took 10-8 lead. Then Sun took three successive points to lead 11-10 interval. After the interval Saina played some aggressive badminton and lead 16-12, made it 19-13 and finally won the first game 21-13 giving no chance to the Chinese for any recovery.

In the second game the Chinese took a slender 3-2 lead to start with but Saina played some great badminton at the net, however  Sun Yun played some great smashes to take 11-9 lead at the interval. After the interval Saina came back into the game and leveled at 11-11. After that it became 12-12. Saina used her experience and took 15-13 lead. After that Saina never looked back and successively scored the points to win the game 21-13.

With this win she is one step away from joining the elite list of Indian who has ever won All England Badminton championship. The previous two Indians were Pulliela Gopichand and Prakash Padukone.

She will face Carliona Marin in the finals of the tournament.
