Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud could be on a move this summer if manager Arsene Wenger decides to sign in a new striker, according to reports.

The French international has been the go to man for Arsenal since moving to Emirates in 2012. Wenger is expected to make some big changes to the squad in summer as the Gunners are looking to miss top four finish in the ongoing season.

However, the Gunners can still end up in top four if results go in their way on Sunday as they are just one point behind Liverpool, who are currently sitting in fourth position in the league standings.

According to Daily Mirror, the 30-year old could look for another club in summer if Arsene Wenger makes more changes to their squad. The Frenchman has only made 11 Premier League starts and have played second fiddle to Alexis Sanchez during the first half of the season.

But his impressive performances as substitute has helped him get back to starting lineup. But if Wenger decides to bring in a new striker, then it would be very tough for Giroud as his playing time would be seriously limited.

Giroud could force a move as he is determined to participate in the upcoming 2018 World Cup and will need plenty of playing time to prove his worth to make it to the final squad to Russia. Alexis Sanchez is heavily linked with a move away as Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester City are all interested in signing him in summer.

He could also leave Emirates in the summer if Wenger cannot guarantee his playing time as French club Marseille are considered favorites to sign him. The Ligue 1 outfit are ready to shell out £20million for Giroud in summer if he decides to leave Arsenal.

Olivier Giroud has scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists in 39 appearances for the club this season. However, he was vastly used as an impact sub as he managed a mere 1768 minutes of playing time. Arsenal are set for major squad overhaul as Wenger and club have plenty of major decisions to make in the summer. The club could be forced to make some big money signings next season.
