James Rodriguez Will Only Leave Real Madrid If Dani Ceballos Joins Them 1

Real Madrid are set to be one of the busiest clubs in the transfer window this summer after they were awfully quite in the last summer transfer window.

The current manager of the club, Zinedine Zidane, has already helped the club to two Champions League titles and a League title and is surely looking to conquer Europe yet again next season.

For this, Zidane is looking to improve on an already star-studded lineup at the Bernabeu and this might spell the end for a few players in the first team next season.

The likes of Alvaro Morata are already close to an exit, with Manchester United desperate for his services and one such player who is also touted to leave the club this summer is Colombian international James Rodriguez.

The 25-year old has not been able to establish himself in the first team under Zidane in the last couple of seasons and has constantly been linked with an exit.

The likes of Chelsea and PSG are desperate for his signature, and he has the ability to turn any squad in Europe into a better one.

Difficult to off-load

With loads of potential and even better figures to show for, Rodriguez, who was hardly the first choice for Zidane, was still one of the most productive players in La Liga in the last season.

However, not many clubs will be interested in his signature as Real Madrid are adamant to hold out for a fee of €75m for his services.

Neither Chelsea nor PSG are ready to seal a deal at that price and this has seen Rodriguez stuck at the Spanish capital for a while longer.

Dani Ceballos to decide his future

But reports from Marca now claim that Zidane’s interest in young Dani Ceballos could be what could decide the Colombian’s future at the club.

The story claims that the Spanish U21 star, who is wanted by a number of top clubs in Spain and Europe, is now close to a move to Real Madrid.

At 20, he is one of the most exciting wingers on show in Spain at the moment and Zidane wants him to replace Rodriguez at the club next season.

And the reports suggest that if Los Blancos are able to seal this transfer, which should not cost them more than €15m, they are sure to let Rodriguez go this summer.

But do you think Dani Ceballos can be the man for Real Madrid?
