Barcelona and Real Madrid are not often seen fighting for one player in the transfer market but when it comes to some of the top talents in Spain, there is surely going to be interest from both parties.
There are a number of youngsters that are being scouted by the two Spanish clubs for some time now and one such player who is set to spark off a battle this transfer window is Dani Ceballos.
Arguably one of the most impressive youngsters on display in Europe, Ceballos was a part of the Spanish U21 squad that impressed in the recent European U21 Championships and has now turned into one of the most wanted youngsters in Europe this summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to meet his asking price of £13.2m as Zinedine Zidane is ready to promise Ceballos regular game time at the Bernabeu to lure him to the Spanish capital this summer.
But Barcelona are also interested and are ready to do what it takes to land him before the start of the next season.
Real Betis vice-president wants Barcelona move
And reports in Spain today suggest that the Catalan giants are in pole position to sign the 20-year old this summer.
According to the story, Real Betis vice-president Lorenzo Serra Ferrer wants the youngster to play at the Camp Nou in the future.
Ferrer was in-charge of the Spanish club back in 2000 and it is understood that he has decent connections with the Camp outfit and has already spoken about Barcelona’s interest in the player.
He said: “They [Barcelona] asked me what my opinion of Dani was, and I gave it to them, and you can imagine what it was,” in a recent interview.

And Ernesto Valverde, the new coach at the Camp Nou is convinced that he is the right man for his side in the future.
Player has heart set on Bernabeu
But Barcelona are sure to face some problems in this transfer as the same report claims that Ceballos prefers a move to Real Madrid and has already opened talks with the club for a move this summer.
It is understood that Real Madrid general director Jose Angel Sanchez will reportedly meet with Real Betis shortly to try to convince them to change their mind.
However, the Betis star is also wanted by Italian giants Juventus and it will be interesting to see where he plays his football next season.
