The Jaipal Singh Stadium which housed the Jharkhand State Wrestling Association is not remembered for anything on sports despite being a stadium and this was the place where national level wrestler Vishal Kumar Verma died after being electrocuted. The incident left everyone shocked and people could hardly believe that anything of this sort could have happened in a stadium.
It was definitely an unfortunate incident which was not expected to happen. The Indoor Stadium was built way back in 1978 and has been getting flooded with rain water ever since the monsoon started this year. No action was taken for the betterment of the infrastructure which eventually led to the unexpected death of the national level wrestler.
He was apparently trying to clear the water which had logged those areas and while doing so the unfortunate incident happened. Electric Current was the reason behind his death and the more sad part was he was trying to put things in order. Twitterati reacted to the incident and vented their rage through the micro blogging site
