As already mentioned, the Pakistan fast bowler, who is no more a part of the Indian Premier League, still holds the record for the best figures in the competition. Back in the first season with the Rajasthan Royals, Tanvir was magnificent throughout the season, helping his side to the title. His spell of 6-14 ion four overs saw the Chennai Super Kings collapse giving the Royals an easy victory. Steven Fleming and Parthiv Patel were the batsmen who started his spell for the bowler.
