The Australian leg-spinner was a revelation in his first season in the IPL playing under Mahendra Sigh Dhoni for the Rising Pune Supergiants. Though his team were knocked out early, Zampa produced some brilliant performances, the best of which came against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at Vizag. His 6-19 castled the SRH batting order but that was not enough for his side who failed to win the game and gave SRH a comfortable victory in the end.
