Stephanie McMahon Provides More Update On Ronda Rousey WWE Return 1

One of the burning speculations heading into WrestleMania 36 is the involvement of Ronda Rousey on the show. There’s no doubt that WWE would be more than happy if she does take the next step and eventually confirm the comeback in due course. But the former champion has shown no Internet in doing so and rather trolled the fans for this.

Ronda Rousey Claims She Is The Greatest Of All Time

The good news is that Ronda Rousey should be back in the WWE, whenever she feels so. WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon spoke with ESPN while attending the WrestleMania 37 press conference in Inglewood, California earlier this week. The talks indicated it’s just a matter of time before Ronda Rousey returns to WWE and boost up the TV viewerships for the company.

The last time we have seen Ronda Rousey was at WrestleMania 35 main event last April. It was the same bout where she dropped the RAW Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat which also included Charlotte Flair. Afterward, news broke out claiming that she was trying to expand her family with husband Travis Browne and hence won’t be appearing on WWE programming, anymore.

Speaking of Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon noted how much the former champion is excited to make the eventual return on WWE TV,

“In all seriousness, I hope so,” Stephanie McMahon said of a Ronda Rousey return. “I know that she’s very excited about coming back. I think she has some things in her personal life that she wants to do. When the time is right, she’ll be back. I have no doubt about that.” (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)

In a recent post, Ronda Rousey talked about willing to come back to WWE in a part-time role or semi-appearance role. She was physically torn during her first stint in the WWE which were of a full-time role. She has appeared in almost every episode since winning the Women’s Championship in August 2018 through April 2019.

Stephanie McMahon hoped that Ronda Rousey will be able to find a suitable schedule before the comeback as we could expect her to be present at WrestleMania 37 which happens in her hometown of Los Angeles, California,

“I sincerely hope we have Ronda Rousey back for WrestleMania here at SoFi, only I don’t want to be the one facing her in the ring,” Stephanie said. “I don’t know. It didn’t work out so well for me last time. I think I’ll let her do her own thing.”
